CUTHBERT By Eddie Bowley January 2002 - January 2005 This comic followed the daily lives of Cuthbert and his younger brother Hugh. Cuthbert is a man with a temper as short as his height, fighting a constant war on the world of idiocy, ranging from the dippy grannies who regularly visit M.F. Smitts (Cuthbert’s workplace) to political correctness in general. And the fact that Hugh has the simple mind of a child with an obsession for ‘The Matrix’ doesn’t help. Other characters include Dr Spoon, a megalomaniac evil genius with aspirations of taking over the world and enslaving mankind, but turns to be very kind and neighbourly, and William, the rather dull and lethargic pet dog that Hugh seems to believe is a genius.
