By Eddie Bowley 18th March 2005 - 2nd June 2005 This was the very difficult project I tried non-stop for half of 2005 trying to make work. My first serious attempt at a hand-drawn comic proved far too much for me. After scripting, storyboarding, pencilling, inking, scanning, colouring, lettering and special effects, there was little time for anything else. The demanding schedules and time-consuming production made Hellhole turn from an ambitious idea to a chore. After a couple of attempts to hire another artist to assist with the workload, the entire thing just fell apart. Hellhole starred Adrian, a demon working in Hell (which is more like a prison: you serve your sentence based on your sins until you finally go to Heaven) and Rik, a fire sprite whose soul is consumed by constant fire. There’s also Tim “Creep” Creeper, a dark-robed skeleton who quit being a Grim Reaper and now serves as “The Bad Guy’s” personal secretary. The story never really got far enough to establish the on-going plot but all 25 completed pages are here including an additional page explaining what would have happened next.
