MAX AND MARSHA

Sprite comics, within the webcomic community, are often looked down upon as generic, poorly-made and badly-written. Max and Marsha was my experiment in breaking those clichés and forming something original out of an over-saturated genre. It received high praise from many well-established webcomic authors. This short story starred husband and wife mountain climbers scaling a large peak for a TV documentary. However, due to the long time spent together, they’ve grown to hate each other.

The story features Max, a vegetarian and an experienced mountain-climber, who’s very sympathetic to the wildlife and the environment, and Marsha, bitter and sarcastic, who’s eagerly looking forward to getting home and throwing out Max’s stuff.

Other characters include Cola the self-loving polar bear, Jimmy the self-loathing dwarf yeti and 3DD the money-obsesssed documentary director robot.
